Swylite LST200 Timer Switch Review – One user was using an Intermatic switch timer. With this timer my fluorescent lights were often not turned on and if turned on continuously flickering. This user decided to give these Swylite timers a try and ordered two. One included the backlight feature and the other came without a backlight. The user removed the Intermatic timer and installed the backlit Swylight timer. Installation of the timer was easy, although required additional time as it did require a neutral wire that was not present in the older existing wiring. The Swylight timer is working great; no more flickering lights.
 The backlit display is great. I even use it a clock to watch the time. This is a very simple product to operate and works very well.

A little explanation of connections may save some time. For single pole single throw switches, the black wire goes to the hot side of the switch, blue goes to the other wire on the switch, white goes to the common ground(white wire in box)and cap the red. Don’t worry about the white wire having a smaller gage wire, because it only carries the current for the timer. The wiring being on the right side of the switch instead of the back means if installed on the right side of the box you must press them flat. Easy to set time and program. Works well even with cfl. It is made in the USA and has the UL label. Not all switches have the UL label.
Swylite LST200 Timer Switch Review – It can be installed as a three way switch by following the instructions and it works well. This switch is nicely suited for use with the compact florescent bulbs. There is a switch on timer for variable use but apparently an absence of instructions on using the feature.
